Ability Centre welcomes new CEO

Ability Centre is delighted to announce the appointment of Suzi Cowcher as its new CEO, effective September 21 2015.

For the past 25 years Suzi has dedicated herself to organisations that provide high quality supports and services for people, whilst also benefitting the community. During this time, she has consistently achieved outcomes that have had a lasting benefit; not only for individuals, families and carers, but also the community as a whole. 

Suzi’s most recent role is as Chief Operating Officer of one of Western Australia’s largest community, housing and aged care organisations, Amana Living.  Suzi played a lead role in transforming the organisation through a culture of empowerment, business improvement and service excellence. This work has been recognised through Amana Living receiving numerous awards, including the Aged Care Employer of Choice (Australia) and Aged Care Organisation of the Year (Australia).

Suzi’s appointment as Chief Executive Officer of Ability Centre brings together three decades of experience that will be used to build on the outstanding work of Ability Centre and our excellent reputation as a leading disability service provider in Western Australia 

Suzi is excited to take on the role and feels privileged at the prospect of leading Ability Centre.
