Better Start Early Days Workshop

Are you in the early days of the journey with your child with a disability?

Are you still finding your way in the disability system?

Does your child have:

Cerebral palsy?                    Down syndrome?                 Fragile X syndrome?

A moderate or greater vision or hearing impairment (including deafblindness)?

Or one of a range of other conditions (see list below)?

You can attend a FREE one-day workshop especially designed for you to help your child have a better start.

The Better Start Early Days workshops are for parents who have a child in the early years before school. These workshops will help you to:

  • Learn more about the services and supports available to you and your child
  • Understand how Better Start, DSC, NDIS and My Way  funding works
  • Meet other parents who have similar experiences to you
  • Build confidence and develop positive strategies

* Other eligible conditions include: Prader Willi syndrome, Williams syndrome, Angelman syndrome, Kabuki syndrome, Smith-Magenis syndrome, CHARGE syndrome, Cornelia de Lange syndrome, Cri du Chat syndrome, Microcephaly and Rett’s Disorder.

Additional spaces available for parents of children with other disabilities.

We are running  FREE Better Start Early Days Workshop in:

Perth North -  Coolbinia

Venue:    Ability Centre (Formerly The Centre for Cerebral Palsy)

              106 Bradford Street, Coolbinia - Singleton Room.

Date:      Thursday 4th June 2015

Time:     9.30am – 1.00pm

Crèche:  Free facilities available.

Cost:      Free

Morning tea and a light lunch will be provided
