Ability Centre dreams big with new brand

The Centre for Cerebral Palsy has announced a bright new future under their new name Ability Centre, representing a stronger future for people with disability and their families right across WA.

Ability Centre CEO Judy Hogben said the new name and brand represented an exciting new direction for the organisation, extending their role in the disability sector to support a wider range of disabilities whilst retaining a specialisation in cerebral palsy.

“For almost 65 years The Centre for Cerebral Palsy has specialised in cerebral palsy. It will always be our passion and our specialisation,” Ms Hogben said.

“But particularly over the last decade, people with other disabilities have come to access our services and benefited from our quality supports and expertise”.

“This change represents what we have already been doing for a number of years now, which is providing quality supports to people regardless of their age or disability type.”

Following substantial consultation with service users, families, staff and members, a brand redevelopment was undertaken to design a new identity that captures the exciting new vision of Dream, Drive, Determination.

“Our rich history and values are unique and will always be protected,” Ms Hogben said.

“This new vision also captures our commitment to our service users and members.”

Ability Centre’s bold change will see the organisation retain their commitment to inspire and support over 1,800 West Australians living with disability to achieve their dreams.

The brand will continue to roll out over WA in the coming weeks and months.
